Student posters

Join us to munch some lunch and show-off your work!

Students are encouraged to present posters on their research or project at the student poster session to be held at the conference. Work in progress posters are fine--your audience may have some good advice for you. We can practically ensure you a good size audience, because we scheduled the poster session in the lunch room!

Prizes will be awarded for the top two posters! We would like to express our gratitude to ΥΠΕ, the Upsilon Pi Epsilon international honor society for the computing sciences, for generously donating the prizes.

To accomodate busy student schedules, we will continue to accept abstracts of your posters up until the day before the conference (Thursday, April 2nd). Please email your abstract of approximately 200 words to the Posters Chair, Kim Kihlstrom.

For poster preparation, makesigns.com/scientific_posters.htm has sample templates, as well as fast and inexpensive printing.

The maximum size for posters is 48" by 36". Posters should be printed on paper (glossy is recommended) so they can be rolled up for travel. Easels or wall-mounts will be provided at the conference.
