After a brief hiatus, the Midsouth Regional Conference is back, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring computing educators, researchers, and students together once again to share ideas, collaborate, and celebrate the growth of computer science education in our region.
Welcome! Our conferences includes great research papers on a variety of CS education topics, tutorials and workshops on classroom techniques, and research poster. We are also looking forward to showcasing student research with both papers and posters.
We are escecially excited to have as our keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Flinn, Chair and Disrupter-in-residence of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technologies at Frostburg State University. Dr. Flinn will be speaking to us about "nudging faculty, students, and institutions to rethink what's possible when curiosity meets action."
This conference would not be possible with the dedication of many contributors. We extend our gratitude to the authors who submitted their work, the reviewers who a high-quality program with a 60% paper acceptance rate, the conference committee, and the CCSC Board of Directors who wholeheartedly supported the restart of the Midsouth Regional Conference. Finally thank you to our national partners, whose logos appear on our home page, for their generous support.
