Driving Directions
Willamette University is located Salem, Oregon, 47 miles south of Portland.
From I-5 (North or South)
- Take the Highway 22 exit (number 253).
- At the light at the end of the off-ramp, head west (a left turn for those coming from the south, a right when coming from the north).
- To go to the hotel
- Take Hwy 22 to the first light
- Turn right onto Hawthorne Avenue
- Turn left (first light) onto Ryan Drive
- To go to the university
- Stay on Hwy 22 for about 1.5 miles
- Just after 17th street, take the exit on the right for Willamette University
- Keep left as the exit divides
- After the next light, there is a green Willamette University sign on the right
- The main parking lot entrance is also on the right about 200 feet past the sign. Other parking lots on campus may also be used

The closest major airport to Salem is at Portland, Oregon. Should you decide to fly through Portland,
the Portland-Salem shuttle system is available.
Note: Parking Permits are not required, but parking may be scarce. CCSC will have some temporary spots reserved for you to register (look for student volunteer at NW corner of main parking lot). A shuttle will also be available between campus and the hotel.
