CCSC: South Central Region
Instructions for Submitting Papers to CCSC South Central Conference
-
Faculty and professionals at colleges and universities are encouraged to submit papers in all areas of
computer science. Areas of particular interest include computer science education, undergraduate
student research and projects, current topics, and new curricula . Accepted papers are published
in the Journal for Computing Sciences in Colleges which is included in the ACM digital library.
-
The page limit for papers is six single-spaced pages, using a single-column layout.
This limit is inclusive of all figures, tables, and the reference list. Please ensure your final submission is a PDF file.
Note: For the initial submission for review, please provide your paper as a PDF file. If your paper is accepted,
you will then be required to submit the final version in LaTeX format.
-
Authors of ACCEPTED papers will be required to submit final copies of papers in LaTex format for use in the
published journal. See the CCSC National editor’s
templates and help
creating a LaTex manuscript for detailed information about formatting papers in LaTex (see paper_template folder).
Authors can refer to the CCSC Journal editor's
author site
for further information regarding LaTex guidelines.
-
All submissions must be uploaded through ConfTool by Monday, March 9, 2026, the last day specified here.
-
Authors will be notified of paper acceptance to the conference on March 3, 2026. Notification will be
sent to all authors via email on CCSC account.
-
By submitting to the CCSC, authors acknowledge that they are aware of and agree to be bound
by the ACM Policy and Procedures on
Plagiarism and the IEEE
Plagiarism FAQ. In particular, papers submitted to CCSC:SC must not have been published elsewhere
and must not be under review or submitted for review
elsewhere whilst under consideration for CCSC:SC. Contravention of this concurrent submission policy
will be deemed a serious breach of scientific ethics, and appropriate action will be taken in all such
cases. To check for double submission and plagiarism issues, the chairs reserve the right to (1) share the
list of submissions with the PC Chairs of other conferences with overlapping review periods and (2) use
external plagiarism detection software, under contract to the ACM or IEEE, to detect violations of these
policies.
-
The conference will employ a double-blind/anonymous review process. Thus, no submission may reveal its authors'
identities. The authors must make every effort to honor the double-anonymous review process. In particular:
-
Authors' names must be omitted from the submission.
-
All references to the author's prior work should be in the third person.
-
Authors are encouraged to title their submission differently than preprints of the authors on ArXiV or
similar sites. During review, authors should not publicly use the submission title.
-
To avoid automatic rejection, please ensure your paper adheres to the double-blind review process.
- Accepted papers are published in the Journal for Computing Sciences in Colleges which is included in the
ACM digital library.
