CCSC: SC Region
Students and Faculty at colleges and universities are encouraged to
submit a poster presentation for the conference poster session.
The research presented on the poster must be original and relevant to the conference's theme. A strong poster should tell a cohesive story about the work.
Instructions for Poster Submissions:
All poster abstracts must be submitted to the South Central Poster Chair, Dr. Shyam Karrah
(skarrah@utdallas.edu).
Send a plain text email message to: Dr. Shyam Karrah,
skarrah@utdallas.edu with the
following information:
- To: skarrah@utdallas.edu
- Subject: CCSC:SC Student or Faculty Poster Submission
- NAME(s):
List the name (or names) of all presenters.
List name as "first_name middle_initial last_name".
Separate all names with a comma.
The first name listed should be the primary contact for the project.
- CONTACT INFORMATION:
Give the name, e-mail, and phone number where the primary presenter contact may be reached.
- TITLE OF PROJECT:
A clear and compelling title that grabs attention.

SCHOOL AFFILIATION:
Name the school at which the research was conducted.

PROJECT ABSTRACT:
This abstract is a concise summary of the presenter's research's purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.
- FACULTY ADVISOR:
The following is in regards to a student poster:
Provide the name and contact information for the faculty member that
advised the studnet on the student's project and who has agreed to
recommend that the poster be submitted to the
South Central regional conference of the CCSC.
Please note: A faculty member may recommend no more than six
poster submissions per year.

All students and faculty submitting a poster must submit and register for the conference by Thursday, April 6, 2026.
- Student Poster competition winners will be annouced after the Student Poster presentation session at the conference.
